Jennifer McLachlan, an award-winning entrepreneur, philanthropist and global security consultant, is the Liberal Party’s nominee for Newmarket-Aurora. Jennifer’s vision is for a riding where everyone has a fair chance to succeed.
A 20-year security career focused on emergency management, business continuity, supply chain, digital technology and women empowerment for Fortune 500 Corporations. In 2021, she expanded her academic intelligence at Massachusetts Institute of Technology studying Organizational Design for Digital Transformation.
Her passions and roots also deepen into the Newmarket-Aurora constituency as an entrepreneur and philanthropist. Jennifer began her service to the community at the age of 18 with her first ventures, a convenience store and Canada Post Franchise, followed by the
award-winning restaurant Cachet Supper Club, and logistics company delivereh. Her experiences have developed her as an advocate for a strong and more inclusive community, where everyone has the resources and opportunities to thrive. In her 40s, she is the matriarch
to millennial entrepreneur siblings, Gen Z entrepreneur daughters and Alpha granddaughters. Her family values extend into her philanthropic work, impacting local NGOs.
She is driven by the needs of the constituency advocating for affordable places to call home and making life more affordable in general. Jennifer is committed to providing fair and equal representation, ensuring the Conservative Party does not reverse the Liberal freedoms in place for women and everyone. Jennifer has said, “It is time to grow again within the riding I love, support and have grown up within. Together let’s keep Newmarket-Aurora moving forward – for everyone.
